Senior Acquisition Specialist/Senior Contract Specialist

Description:  WARDEN is seeking to qualify individuals with previous acquisition support experience for multiple positions on client contracts in support of a variety of Federal agencies. The following Skill areas, Minimum Education requirements, and Minimum Experience qualification are identified for these positions:

Skills (Priority ):

  1. Significant experience and firm grasp of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) requirements and implications
  2. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with senior personnel
  3. Ability to read and interpret Federal acquisition policy, regulations, and directives and to apply those interpretations fully and legally among a variety of service activities (research, logistics, administrative, management, maintenance, etc.)
  4. Ability to provide clear leadership, technical direction, and guidance to all lower level acquisition personnel

WARDEN is looking for motivated individuals who have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt quickly to different environments. This position requires strong communication and technical writing skills. Primary responsibilities include conducting data collection, performing interviews, performing market research, data analysis of current and projected data, using database or spreadsheet software to collect, organize, and analyze data for completing data documentation for reports and presentations to clients, as well as, providing writing and editorial services for textual, graphical, and multimedia products.

The position is located in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area and may require extensive travel throughout the United States, with limited international travel. Degrees are preferred, but specific experience can be substituted. Competitive Sourcing Analyst/Competitive Sourcing Senior Analyst

Description:   Currently, we are seeking Analysts and Senior Analysts, with experience in implementing OMB Circular A-76, to serve as team members and/or team leaders in support of competitive sourcing analysis. These positions may require extensive travel throughout the United States, with the possibility of international travel. Degrees are preferred, but specific experience can be substituted. Minimum Qualifications:   Experience in data collection and analysis, acquisition processes, human resource regulations, federal financial systems, and technology application Ability to support and/or Lead an A-76 competitive sourcing studies and analysis. Experience in developing Performance Work Statements for competitive sourcing studies. Experience in developing an Most Efficient Organizations for competitive sourcing efforts. Experience in providing Preliminary Planning analysis for competitive sourcing efforts. Experience in commercial outsourcing methodologies, value chain analysis, cost benefit analysis, process improvement methodologies, or change, and management. Knowledge of the FAIR Act requirements. Strategic Consultant, Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt/Black Belt

Job Description: This role is responsible for supporting one or multiple clients in the implementation of business-wide transformation and improvement efforts, including Lean Six Sigma training and certification. This individual must be capable of identifying, leading and implementing a wide variety of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness and achievement of strategic objectives of the supported client.

Essential duties include, but are not limited to: Analyze enterprise and organization assessments for potential integration and alignment with the supported unit’s strategic plan.Support assessments of client headquarters element, regional leadership elements, and subordinate major supporting activities. Provide Business Case Analysis (BCA) of potential cost-saving initiatives to provide an understanding of the risks for each initiative and any costs associated with the assessment supported activities.Compare and contrast practices within the scope of client initiatives to benchmark current activity and initiatives with government/industry best practices. Engage with and counsel business unit leadership/management and actively lead project teams to achieve continuous improvement results, such as reducing cost; improving cycle time, enhancing customer experience, etc.  Provide coaching and mentoring for business unit management on the use of evaluation and estimation tools for assessing people, processes and system performance.Support the implementation process, including education of management and staff, by directly assisting with management and execution of proposed implementation plans. Encourage the acceptance of change management by providing executive education sessions and assisting with communications planning, personnel training, and assessments of change readiness.Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements: BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or other any Business-related proficiency, with 10+ years of combined experience in management consulting, business development, regional/divisional project management, and process improvement leadership.Must demonstrate effective situational leadership, quick and continuous learning style, and motivational project management skills. Requires excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Strong analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills also needed. Experience providing strategic management support to federal Government agencies preferred, but not required

Verification of Six Sigma Master Black Belt/Black Belt Certification from an accredited training authority required.Master Black Belts (MBB) must have at least ten (10) years experience in implementing Six Sigma methodologies, completed a MBB technical examination, and have successfully overseen the training and project execution of at least two classes of Black Belt candidates.

Black Belts (BB) must have at least two (2) years of experience in implementing Six Sigma methodologies, a minimum of four (4) years of industry experience, have completed a comprehensive BB technical examination, and have successfully completed two 3- 6 month improvement projects.
